Richard Bogen, Managing Director
Since joining the company, Mr. Bogen has been integral in the development of the company’s business, advertiser and partner relationships. He brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, and strategic planning and development and is a professional investor and consultant. Since 1992, Mr. Bogen has partnered in the development and re-development of more than 20 retail shopping centers in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.
As a senior vice president of Creation Capital, Mr. Bogen was instrumental in raising funds, for early stage companies in the biotech sector. He has been an early stage or original investor in several public companies including Myriad Genetics (MYGN), Rosetta Informatics (RSTA) and Amedica (AMCA). From 1982 to 1991, Mr. Bogen developed extensive international business and marketing experience working in the photographic, video, visual merchandising and broadcasting industry, where in his last position Mr. Bogen served as the International Sales and Marketing Director for Gruppo Manfrotto where he oversaw the sales, marketing, and strategic planning for five divisions, three fully owned subsidiaries and 200 distributors worldwide. Additionally, he is the former director of special marketing and technology for the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. Mr. Bogen sits on the executive board for Gilda’s Club of Northern New Jersey and on the Northern district business advisory board for the American Cancer Society. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina.
Lawrence Laffer, Executive Director, Sales & Marketing
Mr. Laffer manages all advertising sales and marketing efforts for FreeFi Networks. He is an online industry veteran with over twenty years of experience in developing online and off-line media and technology solutions with leading companies including Microsoft, America Online, IBM, Warner Bros. and Viacom. Mr. Laffer earned his undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from Emerson College and has completed graduate coursework in marketing and sales management at Harvard University. He has served as an executive board member for the Society for Internet Advancement and as a member of The Ad Club of Los Angeles, The Southern California Broadcasters Association.
Steve Russak, Director, Product Development
Mr. Russak manages FreeFi Networks' service offerings from technical design through deployment. He is the co-founder of Digitron Communications, a leading provider of delivery, installation and maintenance services for broadband wireless communications, consumer electronics, computers and networking systems and earned his B.A. degree from California State University, Northridge.
Mike Gold, Director
A seasoned international advertising veteran, Mr. Gold has held executive level positions with major advertising agencies in London, New York, New Zealand and San Francisco.and has managed the global advertising business for clients as diverse as Heineken, FedEx, M&M Mars, Pizza Hut and Cadbury Schweppes among others. Mike holds a BSc (Econ) Hons in accounting and economics from the University of Wales. Mr. Gold lives in Bozeman, MT where he an adjunct professor of marketing at Montana State University and is the CEO of Flying Horse Communications.
Gregory Elinsky, Director
Mr. Elinsky is the founder and Senior Managing Director of Keane Advisors and President & CEO of Executive Capital Strategies. Prior to starting Executive Capital Strategies and Keane Advisors, Greg worked for Goldman Sachs' Private Client Services Division for 11 years. While at Goldman Sachs, He has managed assets of approximately $4.4 billion for 35 individuals and family groups. In April of 2001, Greg sold his business to Merrill Lynch and founded the Wealth Strategies Group within the Private Client Division of Merrill Lynch. In addition, Mr. Elinsky has extensive experience in Investment Banking and Private Placements having placed over $575 million in Private Placement transactions and arranging over $700 million in committed debt financings. He holds a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant and Institutional Management and an M.B.A. from Penn State University. He was also a member of both the 1988 and 1992 Olympic wrestling teams.
